Sage Advocacy Center and Local Law Enforcement are proud to be delivering free courses for adults throughout Chelan and Douglas counties titled "Protecting our Children". This educational curriculum equips participants with information and tools to protect children from sexual abuse. It was developed by national expert Cory Jewell Jensen after many years of interviews with child molesters in jail and extensive research about the issue of child sex abuse. Sage Advocacy Center has seen an increase in the number of cases of child sexual abuse in Chelan and Douglas counties over the last year. This important collaborative training is a way for community members to take action to prevent the sexual abuse of children in Chelan and Douglas counties.
